$30 Project |
I'm Lindsay and I started to this blog in 2010 to try and pay off my credit card debt. (I finally managed it in late 2012!) I set a budget for every year. They've gone as follows: spending no more than $30 on any single clothing item, spending only a $100 per month, and budgeting $1,200 for the year that I could spend whenever I liked. I've never once broken the rules! In 2013, I have a $1,000 budget. Questions/Concerns can be addressed care of thirtydollarproject@gmail.com or tweet me! @30dollarproject for outfit updates and @LindsH for the various musings of my everyday life. |

Happy Halloween everyone!
It’s basically been cancelled here on the East Coast due to Sandy, which is a bit sad since our office was supposed to have a huge shindig today. However, I did get to wear my costume to a party on Saturday.
Since Mia Farrow is 100% responsible for my obsession with short hair, I decided to take advantage of the old ‘do and go as Rosemary from Rosemary’s Baby. (Plus I had a dress in my closet that was very Mia Farrow-ish so I put less than 10 minutes of effort into this get-up.)
If you were in the storm, I hope that you are something safe and cozy with power running.
Total cost of the outfit = $55.50
Remaining budget for 2012 = $420
