$30 Project |
I'm Lindsay and I started to this blog in 2010 to try and pay off my credit card debt. (I finally managed it in late 2012!) I set a budget for every year. They've gone as follows: spending no more than $30 on any single clothing item, spending only a $100 per month, and budgeting $1,200 for the year that I could spend whenever I liked. I've never once broken the rules! In 2013, I have a $1,000 budget. GIMMIE, GIMMIE, GIMMIE: 10 Wish List Picks for Autumn
Now we all know that this is a very budget-conscious Tumblr. But every once in a while, I like to let my mind go a bit nuts and think about what I would buy if there were no financial restrictions; if I could have a few choice items that my heart really desired.
Turns out that I still don’t get too crazy. (Okay, that Carven skirt might be a wee-bit overpriced.) I think that the best style is ultimately a mixture of high-low and even if one day I am rolling in it, I would probably still stick to this structure.
So here they are, 10 beauties that I’d buy for myself if it wouldn’t sink me into major credit card debt:
1. Camel Jumper available at Romwe - $74
2. Herschel Supply Company Backpack in Mint available at Madewell - $55
3. Sam Edelman Petty Bootie in Cheetah available at Zappos - $160
4. Labradorite Handmade Copper Ring from Midwest Alchemy - $72.50
5. Oval Glistening Studs Ring available at Sadee Says - $55
6. Booker Short Buckle Boots from J.Crew - $275
7. Carven Volcano Print Skirt available at Barneys New York - $390
8. Natasha Couture Elephant Brooch available at Nordstrom - $58
9. Marshall Frames in Rum Cherry from Warby Parker - $95
10. Good Grammar is Sexy Totebag from Studio Nico - $16
